Acquisition Card Policy
Departments use acquisition cards to streamline the procurement process by allowing a designated employee to charge purchases made from suppliers and settle for these purchases directly with the acquisition card issuing company. This course will explain the responsibilities of stakeholders in the acquisition card program, the use and operational requirements to obtain and maintain an acquisition card as well as the process and acceptable uses of the cards.

Analysis of Clinical Trials II: Categorical Data
This course provides Health Canada employees with an overview of the methods used for analyzing categorical data. This course is designed to help you understand the importance of good clinical trial design through the proper use of categorical data. Properly used, categorical data establishes a clear methodology at the start and avoids bias in the interpretation of results. This course will aid you in recognizing the difference between appropriate and inappropriate statistical methodology and tests to properly interpret a clinical trial with categorical data statistics.

Applying for Jobs in the Public Service and Preparing for the Interview
The information sessions on Applying for Public Service Jobs and Preparing for the Interview will provide a brief overview of: the public service appointment process, understanding the job posting, applying the STAR method to screening and interview questions, examining different types of exam and interview questions, and providing tips on strategies to follow before, during and after the interview.

A mentee is a public servant seeking guidance on their professional development from an experienced senior leader (mentor). Eligible Mentorship Plus employees are those who identify with one or more of the following employment equity and/or equity seeking groups: Racialized Persons, Indigenous Peoples, Black Employees, Persons with Disabilities and/or 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

Become a Mentor
We are now seeking mentors to share their skills and experiences with employees in support of their career goals. Mentors can belong to any occupational group and level. Mentors are not required to be part of an underrepresented group. The time investment is up to the mentor and mentee and can be as little as one hour per month.

Building Inspector Credibility
This self-directed eLearning course will provide ROEB inspectors with the strategies and skills necessary to establish and maintain credibility as a Health Canada inspector. This course is the second in a series of five prerequisite courses for Foundations of Inspection and Regulation. This is the recommended order for these prerequisite courses: 1.
