Compliance Verification Activities
This self-directed eLearning course will introduce ROEB inspectors to the five stages of Health Canada inspections – initiation, planning, inspecting, closing, and reporting. In each stage, learners will be guided through inspector practices that are shared across different inspection programs.

Through explanations, suggestions, examples and exercises, this course is designed to assist pharmaceutical safety and efficacy reviewers and managers in BCANS, BGIVD, and BMORS with conducting and responding to a toxicology assessment consult on impurities and residual solvents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) developed by the Therapeutic Products Directorate. This course is the second in a series of three online courses related to the SOP.

Welcome to the Conducting Pharmaceutical Safety and Efficacy Reviews and Preparing Review Reports on Submissions for Marketing Authorization online training course The eLearning course, Conducting Pharmaceutical Safety and Efficacy Reviews and Preparing Review Reports on Submissions for Marketing Authorization provides instructions and guidance on review activities conducted to apply governing statutes and regulations in a predictable and consistent manner. SOPs are administrative instruments not having force of law and, as such, allow for flexibility in approach. Alternate approaches to the principles and practices described in this course may be acceptable provided they are supported by adequate justification. This course should be experienced in conjunction with the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations, other applicable acts and regulations, and relevant sections of other applicable review SOPs and guidance documents for external stakeholders.

This Information Session will help you gain a concrete understanding of Conflict of Interest (COI) issues and provide you with information and guidance with regards to the COI process, which derives from the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Values and Ethics Code.

This learning session will give tips on how to make your language as commonplace as possible, given the audience/circumstance. Even if you know your audience, you do not know the challenges they face while reading, so writing for clarity and equal access is the gold standard.
