This course is an introduction for new employees containing all the information concerning your pay and benefit at Health Canada and within the Public Service of Canada.

The Pension Plan Member Education Session is a 2.5-3 hour session. Participants are invited to ask questions, which allows us to offer an interactive session that meets their needs.

The People and Programs session offers new employees a chance to network with fellow newcomers and guest speakers from Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada.  Participants will also gain inspiration on ways to continue their learning and growth in their new virtual workspace.

This course will explore the steps required to build strong performance agreements; the importance of well structured, open, transparent and respectful talent conversations; and to understand who to contact or sources to refer to when you have performance or talent management related questions.Upon completion of the course you will be able to:Collaboratively create strong and individualized performance agreements.Conduct meaningful, open, respectful and valuable talent conversations.Understand who to contact and the resources available to help you when you need help.Estimated duration:  1 hour and 15 minutes

This course will take you through the annual performance and talent management cycle; breakdown the important activities that take place during each stage; provide you with important considerations and actions you can take, as an employee, to ensure that you are successful; and to provide you with an understanding of who to contact or sources that you can refer to should you need some help along the way.

The purpose of this course is to provide guidance to PMRA staff on how to facilitate and support sound, credible, regulatory decision-making.

The Regulatory Decision Guide (RDG) workshop will serve to introduce the core principles for regulatory decisions and to define the elements of a well-written decision.

Provides a detailed description on how the reporting requirements for PCP are performed. Includes specific Merlin data entry requirements for each metric and detailed instructions to produce the data needed for PCP reporting.
