Quality Fundamentals and Tools
This course is intended for anyone who needs to understand and address quality issues. It will provide basic information on quality concepts and should help you identify quality issues in the workplace. After completing this course, you will be better prepared to participate in quality initiatives. This course focuses on knowledge and understanding, rather than skills and techniques.

Quarantine Scenarios
The Quarantine Scenarios online training course will provide learners with the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have gained from the prerequisite courses [Roles and Responsibilities of Quarantine Officers, Key Partners and Players; Quarantine Act; and Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC)]. Using scenarios, learners will solve complex problems similar to those encountered in real life within the Quarantine Program, taking into account the theory, policies and procedures required to understand the scenarios presented, and the interventions expected. This training will assist in preparing learners for potential public health situations by anticipating appropriate independent and team responses.

Reconnecting with our Sense of Wellbeing
The Reconnecting with our Sense of Wellbeing course will speak on the transition back to the workplace and the shift in work culture, experienced since the onset of the pandemic. The session will include current research in workplace psychology to help organizations understand these changes at the individual, team, and organizational levels. Employees will also learn how organizations and individuals can both manage these changes and turn them to their advantage and find motivation in times of stress.

Reducing Workplace Stress and Anxiety
This two-hour interactive hybrid session will allow participants to share and discuss the triggers that can cause stress in a supportive environment. Through a facilitated dialogue, participants will gain greater insight into what stress is and the various strategies that can help them manage their health. The event will be held at 269 Laurier Ave West in the Learning Center on the 7th floor, 7-086.

Regulatory Framework
Through explanations, suggestions, examples and exercises, this course is designed to give new reviewers within the Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) an overview of the regulatory framework for the review of human drugs and medical devices. Throughout this course, users will learn about the basics of the regulatory framework. Acts and Regulations will not be discussed in detail in this course. For more information on Acts and Regulations, see the classroom course entitled Administrative Law and the Issuance of Market Authorizations for Drugs.

Requesting Toxicology Assessment Consults on Impurities and Residual Solvents
Through explanations, suggestions, examples and exercises, this course is designed to assist pharmaceutical quality reviewers and team leaders in BPS with the preparation of a request for a toxicology assessment consult on impurities and residual solvents according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) developed by the Therapeutic Products Directorate. This course is the first in a series of three online courses related to the SOP.

Quarantine Officers have a first line opportunity to deliver risk communications during high-risk health events.
