Mandatory for Managers

Description

The following learning activities are mandatory for managers of Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada. Contact your Branch or Directorate/Centre learning team for any additional mandatory learning. Managers are also required to complete all mandatory learning for employees.

Employee mandatory learning

• All mandatory learning on the Employee mandatory learning checklist 37 hours/ Multiple sources

Leave and Pay

• HR-to-Pay for Managers (COR137) 4 hours/ CSPS

People and Wellness

• Values and Ethics Foundations for Managers (FON302) 2 hours/ CSPS (Values and Ethics in the Workplace for Managers has been replaced by the Canada School of Public Service course, Values and Ethics Foundations for Managers (FON302) and will be recognized as the mandatory course to be completed by HC and PHAC managers.)

In the current context, all employees and managers who took the course(s) more than a few months ago are recommended to refresh their learning on the foundational public sector values and ethical behaviors for employees (FON 301) and managers (FON302) to support V&E conversations with their teams.
