Description
To be completed by the end of the fourth month of employment with Health Canada (HC) or the Pubic Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
This Check In session on Communication Styles has the specific purpose to engage participants to reflect on their onboarding experience to date at Health Canada (HC) or the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC). In addition, participants will be asked to complete a self-assessment questionnaire to identify their communication preferences and identify pros and cons of each of the four communication styles.
Objectives of the session:
• Share your onboarding experiences to date at HC and PHAC through live polling questions.
• Gain an understanding of your unique communication style and preferences
• Identify your communication strengths and areas to improve and gain tips for how to communicate with those with alternate communication styles
Take advantage of one last opportunity to ask your onboarding questions!
