Management Rights is a self-paced online course that helps managers at Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada understand their authorities, obligations, and limits within a unionized environment. The module outlines how legislation, collective agreements, and HR delegation shape a manager’s ability to make decisions and address workplace issues.

Through practical examples and case scenarios, managers learn when they can exercise discretion, when they must follow established processes, and how to work effectively with Labour Relations advisors and bargaining agents.
