This online course is designed to enhance understanding and implementation of information security principles in SACR. It focuses on managing permissions, safeguarding sensitive information, and ensuring secure collaboration using SharePoint.
Course Overview:
• Purpose: Equip participants with knowledge and skills to protect sensitive information, manage permissions, and use SharePoint's security features effectively.
• Target Audience: All HC and PHAC Employees.
Course Highlights:
• Gain an understanding of the fundamental principles of information security and how they apply to SACR.
• Learn to identify, categorize, and protect sensitive information, including Protected A and B classifications.
• Develop expertise in SACR's permission structures and implement the "Need-to-Know" principle to restrict access to sensitive content.
• Explore best practices for securely sharing documents, managing permissions, and revoking access when needed.
• Discover tools, resources, and support available to maintain compliance and enhance collaboration within the SACR environment.
By the end of this 2-hour course, participants will be able to:

The course concludes with a quiz to validate understanding and ensure readiness to apply these principles in real-world scenarios. A minimum score of 70% is required to successfully complete the course and receive a certificate.
