Description

This online course on health risk communication provides learners with foundational knowledge and practical skills to communicate health risks effectively. Each of the seven modules examines a critical topic in risk communication by reviewing the theory, explaining tools, and using real-life examples. The last module allows learners to apply what they have learned as they navigate a learning scenario in which they need to make decisions using the Toolkit for Health Risk Communicators. At the end of each module (except the last one) learners will complete a 5-question, multiple-choice assessment.

This course is recommended for communicators at any level and public servants in other areas wishing to better understand or learn about risk communication principles and processes.
