Description
Join us for an interactive learning session designed to equip managers with the knowledge and confidence to apply Government of Canada performance ratings fairly, consistently, and transparently. Participants will deepen their understanding of TBS performance rating definitions, explore the relationship between work objectives and core competencies, and learn how to use evidence-based judgement when assessing employee performance. Through scenarios, group discussions, and reflection activities, managers will practice identifying common pitfalls and biases, strengthen their calibration skills, and build confidence in communicating ratings effectively. This session supports a culture of clarity, fairness, and accountability in performance and talent management across Health Canada and PHAC.
