Description

The aim of this virtual show is to raise awareness among Health Canada and Public Health Agency of Canada employees of the linguistic and cultural diversity of Francophones in Canada, and to provide an opportunity to promote respect and inclusion, which are fundamental Canadian values. This event will also be an opportunity to highlight the importance of the French contribution to science, and the importance of transmitting scientific information to Canadians in the official language of their choice. Martin Carli, host, teacher, biochemist and broadcaster, is best known to the general public for his role as co-host of the popular science quiz show Génial! on Télé-Québec. During the show, Mr. Carli will discuss the approach he uses to create all his popular science demonstrations. The show will be illustrated with real presentations created for TV, chosen from nearly 2,000 subjects!
