This course will introduce the Talent Management for All concept; define the difference between talent management and talent management plans; overview talent and career development initiatives at HC and PHAC; and share some tools and best practices for you to help develop the talent in your team.

Upon completion of the session you will be able to:

• Understand your managerial responsibilities in terms of offering talent, career guidance and support to your employees;
• Understand the Talent Mapping process, and how it can support your overall talent strategy in your program area;
• Consider various approaches in building on and establishing meaningful, genuine and respectful talent conversations with staff; and
• Determine where to seek support and guidance from your CSB partners to enable you to succeed in your talent management responsibilities."
