Description

In celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Indigenous Cultural Competency Learning (ICCL) Team, in collaboration with the Corporate Services Branch (CSB), invites you to a special presentation by acclaimed Innu journalist and author Michel Jean.

Michel Jean is a celebrated voice in Canadian media and literature. A former TVA news anchor and bestselling author, his works—including the award-winning novel Kukum—bring to life the stories, struggles, and resilience of Indigenous communities. His storytelling is rooted in values of family, respect, and cultural survival.

Join us for this inspiring event to learn, reflect, and celebrate Indigenous voices and experiences. Whether attending in person or online, this is a meaningful opportunity to deepen your understanding and honour the rich cultures and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
