Description
The Pension Plan Member Education Session is a 2.5-3 hour session. Participants are invited to ask questions, which allows us to offer an interactive session that meets their needs.
An overview of the following topics is provided during each session:
- Pension and benefits website
- Pension plan contributions
- Benefit calculations
- Benefit options
- Deductions
- Indexing
- Supplementary Death Benefit (SDB)
- Survivor benefits
- Leave without pay
- Service buyback
We also talk about the following group insurance plans:
- Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP)
- Pensioners’ Dental Services Plan (PDSP)
The participants will receive a PDF copy of the presentation.
