This mandatory orientation is intended for new National Microbiology Laboratory Branch (NMLB) employees and students located at the Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health (CSCHAH). This session provides information specific to the NMLB, general requirements and roles as a federal public servant, and safety and security information relevant to the CSCHAH facility. Topics include: NMLB’s organizational structure and governance; building safety protocols including basic information regarding containment features; security protocols and processes; guidelines related to Information Management; Information Technology; and resources and supports available to new employees.
