This mandatory orientation is intended for new National Microbiology Laboratory Branch (NMLB) employees and students located outside of Winnipeg, including NMLB sites in Guelph, St. Hyacinthe and the NCR (referred to as “Nodes”). This session provides information specific to the NMLB and general requirements and roles as a federal public servant. Topics include: NMLB’s organizational structure and governance; information and processes related to Information Management; Information Technology security protocols and responsibilities; and resources and supports available to new employees.
