Description

The Standard Information Architecture for Employees course helps Health Canada (HC) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) employees understand how to organize and save information using the department’s approved classification standard.

Through three modules, participants learn how Programs, Activities, and Processes structure information and how this structure is applied in SharePoint as a Corporate Repository (SACR). The course also introduces key concepts such as Information of Business Value (IBV) and explains how saving information in the correct location supports consistency, accessibility, and proper retention.

Practical examples and scenarios help participants apply these concepts in their daily work. By saving information in the appropriate location in SACR, employees automatically apply departmental standards.

The course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete and includes interactive content, practice activities, and a final quiz. A score of 70% or higher is required to receive a certificate.
