Description
In this workshop, we will go over how to make Excel spreadsheets accessible. We will cover the following:
- Using accessible templates.
- Accessible blank cells, empty columns/rows.
- Accessible sheet names.
- Accessibility for merged or split cells.
- Accessible “bookmarks” (name cells and ranges).
- Giving description of document layout in cell A1.
- Using Input Messages.
Workshop 1 is a recommended pre-requisite for this session. Workshop 1 is critical to staff understanding accessibility, and how their everyday actions affect people with different accommodation needs in a positive, or negative, way.

All trainings are divided into 2 parts: pre-recorded (that we will watch as a group), and interactive.
