Description

In this workshop, we will go over how to make Excel spreadsheets accessible. We will cover the following:

• Using accessible templates.
• Accessible blank cells, empty columns/rows.
• Accessible sheet names.
• Accessibility for merged or split cells.
• Accessible “bookmarks” (name cells and ranges).
• Giving description of document layout in cell A1.
• Using Input Messages.

FG338 is a recommended pre-requisite for this session. FG338 is critical to staff understanding accessibility, and how their everyday actions affect people with different accommodation needs in a positive, or negative, way.
