Description

IMS in Action! Build the Bones. Bring the Brains

Ready to see how your expertise fits into a real public health emergency response? IMS in Action! is a newly redesigned, hands-on 2‑day workshop that brings the Public Health Incident Management System (IMS) to life.

This immersive learning experience blends a self‑paced virtual learning (Day 1) with a high‑energy, in‑person practicum (Day 2) where you’ll learn, practice, and reflect alongside peers in a small, supportive cohort. Expect movement, discussion, gamified decision‑making, and a behind‑the‑scenes tour that shows how responses really work under pressure.

You’ll leave with more than just knowledge. You’ll gain confidence, practical IMS skills, and “emotional kevlar” to help you navigate the stress and complexity of real-world public health emergencies, whether you’re supporting science, coordination, operations, or leadership.
