Description

Are you a participant in the upcoming Cobalt Magnet 2025 (CM25) exercise? Have you signed up for an emergency response roster? Maybe you are simply interested in learning more about emergency response principles. Whatever your motivation, this session is for you!

In public health emergency response, there are two major organization systems used in Canada: Incident Management System (IMS) and Incident Command System (ICS). Both systems will be used in the CM25 exercise. During this session you will get an overview of the ICS and IMS, including discussion of their similarities and differences, and how to respond successfully using either system.
