Description

How do we communicate key information and situational updates during public health emergency activations? Using Situation Reports (SitReps) of course!

This interactive online course will demystify SitReps, leaving you with a clear understanding of what these documents are, when and why we use them, and who they are written for. We’ll also prepare you for the exciting and important role of SitRep Writer by teaching you how to write concise, accurate SitReps that follow standard operating procedures for formatting and approvals.

This training is part of the Public Health Agency of Canada’s (PHAC’s) Emergency Management learning path and is perfect for anyone thinking about participating in a public health emergency activation, especially those already on an IMS Readiness Roster.
