Description
The Home and Workplace Preparedness for All course will help you acquire the tools to plan and prepare for an emergency and put together an emergency preparedness kit.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
•Describe the hazards and risks related to the geographic area of Canada where you live and work, and assess your vulnerability and resiliency
•Contribute to workplace preparedness within the
Health Portfolio, and improve your workplace preparedness continuing to connect work plans to your personal plans
•Develop a plan for yourself and your family that will address both common and hazard-specific consequences of emergencies
•Recognize
and access the resources that will allow you and your family to remain self-reliant for at least the first 72 hours of an emergency that affects common supplies and services.
