Welcome to the Regulatory Decision Guide Training online training course

The purpose of the eLearning course Regulatory Decision Guide Training is to introduce the Health Products and Food Branch Regulatory Decision Guide (the Guide) to HPFB staff. The Guide will provide guidance to HPFB staff to facilitate and support sound, credible, decision-making. This eLearning course is also a prerequisite to the virtual 'classroom' workshop course which will be available in coming months.

As you go through this course, you may refer to the Guide. You will find that the Regulatory Decision Guide Training online training course and the Guide applies to all regulatory decisions and contributions leading to regulatory decisions you make in the HPFB, including decisions made pursuant to regulations, which may be subject to the scrutiny of the courts.

This course contains 5 modules and a final quiz. Each module is designed to flow from one to the next; each building on material of the previous module. The quiz requires a passing grade of 70% to be considered complete. Certificates of completion will be issued once the course is complete.
