Description

This self-directed eLearning course is designed to provide Health Canada and Indigenous Services Canada Building Emergency Evacuation Team (BEET) members of the Jeanne Mance Building with the essential knowledge, responsibilities, and procedures required to effectively support occupants during an emergency.

The course outlines building-specific emergency protocols, BEET roles and responsibilities, evacuation procedures, communication requirements, and safety expectations for designated team members.

The purpose of this training is to ensure that all BEET members understand their critical role in emergency preparedness and response, confidently carry out their assigned duties during an evacuation or other emergency situation, and contribute to a safe, orderly, and coordinated building-wide response. It also establishes a consistent understanding of procedures and expectations among all BEET members, regardless of when they join the team.
