Description

This self-directed eLearning course is designed to provide Health Canada and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) occupants of the Jeanne Mance Building with the essential knowledge and procedures required to respond effectively during an emergency.

The course outlines building-specific emergency protocols, occupant roles and responsibilities, evacuation procedures, and safety expectations to help individuals understand how to recognize emergencies, follow established response procedures, and contribute to a safe and coordinated building-wide response.

The purpose of this training is to ensure that all Health Canada and Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) occupants understand their role in emergency preparedness and response, confidently follow established procedures during an evacuation or other emergency situation, and contribute to a safe, orderly, and coordinated response. It also establishes a consistent understanding of emergency procedures and expectations among all occupants, regardless of when they begin working in the Jeanne Mance Building.
