Description

ROEB inspectors participating in this bilingual virtual panel discussion will deepen their understanding of predominant purpose, Charter rights, and the inspector’s evolving role. Those unsure of when or how to “cross the Rubicon” will gain clarity on legal thresholds, privacy protections, and actionable steps to support a lawful transition.

This session is the third module in the National Learning Unit’s Investigations Training Program. Legal experts from Health Legal Services, specialists from ROEB’s Investigations and Litigation Support Unit (ILSU), and seasoned inspectors will unpack key concepts, case law, and practical strategies through expert discussion and a live Q&A. The session includes a recap of foundational concepts and an “Ask Me Anything” segment with the panel.
