Description

ROEB inspectors participating in this live virtual course will practice the communication skills and strategies needed to prepare for difficult conversations with regulated parties and stakeholders. As part of the final assessment, learners will engage in a one-on-one simulation with a facilitator and receive constructive feedback to enhance their skills. The 2024 version of this learner-centered course, delivered by experienced Health Canada inspectors, ensures learners gain confidence using various verbal techniques and models in enforcement scenarios.

This course is recommended in the first 6-12 months of employment.

Inspectors are encouraged to take this course every three years.
