Inspectors and Analysts

Description

ROEB inspectors participating in this live virtual course will be introduced to the Four Powers— Credibility, Logic, Emotion, and Law — a practical model inspectors can use to navigate conversations with regulated parties.

Learners will explore how these Powers influence cooperation during inspections and how to apply them to maintain authority, manage resistance, and keep inspections moving forward.

Through realistic scenarios and discussion, inspectors will practice structuring enforcement conversations intentionally instead of reactively. The course will help learners recognize when a Power is under pressure and adjust their approach in real time to support clear communication, consistent decision-making, and professional use of authority.
