Description

Join us for a day of interactive sessions that showcase the transformative power of Indigenous voices in the media.

 

This is a free event. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot.

 

This series of dynamic sessions will include keynotes, case studies, and panel discussions, moderated by Nic Meloney (Senior Advisor of Content Development and Production, CBC/Radio-Canada), Moe Clark (multidisciplinary artist and columnist, CBC/Radio-Canada), Adam Garnet Jones (Director of TV Content, APTN), and Duncan McCue (award-winning journalist). Topics that will be explored include archival practices, the use of AI in language preservation, authentic storytelling, navigating issues of authentication and funding criteria with care, and more.
