Description

The Circle of Nations is pleased to announce that our esteemed Resident Elder Rachèle Prud’homme will be offering First Nations teachings to public servants across government.

Elder Rachèle Prud'homme is from Algonquin and French ancestry. She resides in Ottawa and is from McGregor Lake, Val-des-Monts. She spends a lot of time on her traditional land to ground herself and do ceremonies. She is an ardent defender of Indigenous rights. For over 20 years, Rachèle takes part in Pow Wow as a Women Traditional Dancer. Since 2018, Elder Rachèle has been a valuable member of NRCan’s Elders-in-Residence Program.
