Description

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (NDTR) on September 30 honours the resilience of Indigenous survivors, families, and communities, while acknowledging the harms of residential schools and colonial policies.

Reconciliation requires reflection and action. The NDTR Reflection Activity invites you to:

• Learn about the strength of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples

• Reflect on the impacts of public health policies under the Indian Act

• Contribute to conversations supporting equity in health

This activity reminds us that beyond residential schools, the Indian Act affected every stage of life for Indigenous peoples. Every ribbon symbolizes reflection, solidarity, and commitment to learning and reconciliation.
