Description
Learn how to create a traditional five-petal Métis flower pin in this five-week beginner workshop!
Often introduced as a first beading project, the Métis flower pin teaches foundational techniques while exploring the history and significance of Métis floral beadwork. Beadwork can tell stories and express connections to family, community and the land through its colours and designs.
Two 5-session workshop series are available:
Mondays | September 28 to October 26, 2026

Wednesdays | October 7 to November 4, 2026
12:00p.m. to 1:30p.m. (ET)
In person at Iskotew Lodge, Tunney’s Pasture
Cost: $15 (limited quantities)
Each session builds on the previous one, so participants are encouraged to attend all five. In-person attendance is recommended for easier hands-on support.
All profits from kit sales will be donated to Minwaashin Lodge Indigenous Women’s Support Centre.
