Description
We are thrilled to host this workshop which has been developed specifically for HTQ to provide you with a foundational understanding of First Nations cultural considerations in the health sector and research space.
Come along and learn about the legal intricacies of Intellectual Property (IP) and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) to equip you with invaluable strategies for ICIP protection.
Developed by Terri Janke and Company (TJC), this workshop is anchored in the unique 'Ten True Tracks® Principles' crafted by TJC. With the True Tracks® framework as your guide, you'll feel confident to navigate the intricacies of working with First Nations communities, their ICIP and associated data.
Join us in this transformative journey of knowledge, where we not only explore the legal dimensions but also embrace cultural sensitivity and respect as cornerstones of our interactions with First Nations peoples and their precious ICIP.
This session will not be recorded. However, session attendees will be provided with a condensed PDF version of the slides for their own personal use after the workshop.
