This document is intended to be updated from time to time as new companies with different business processes come to the Program’s attention.

Description What is a Coaching Circle? The Coaching Circle process is structured to focus on helping participants to develop creative and constructive ways to address and resolve difficult workplace issues by asking powerful open questions that allow the coachee to develop their own solutions. Through active participation, participants of the Coaching Circle will: Gain a basic understanding of coaching principles; Develop and refine their coaching skills, which are transferable to a variety of workplace settings; Have the opportunity to learn from the insights and contributions of their peers, as well as from their own reflections in a collaborative group learning environment; and Build a network of peers to foster collaboration and support, with the aim of extending beyond the parameters of the Circle experience. FOR REGISTRATION: The Coaching Circles Program consist of 7 sessions starting on March 22nd to June 7th, 2023. Due to a limited number of available spots, participants are committed to attend the one 3 hour training session and all six 2.5 hour meetings. Participants will learn the principles of conflict management and effective collaboration, thus placing them in a better position to promote teamwork and benefit from more positive working relationships.

This self-directed eLearning course will introduce ROEB inspectors to the five stages of Health Canada inspections – initiation, planning, inspecting, closing, and reporting. In each stage, learners will be guided through inspector practices that are shared across different inspection programs.

Through explanations, suggestions, examples and exercises, this course is designed to assist pharmaceutical safety and efficacy reviewers and managers in BCANS, BGIVD, and BMORS with conducting and responding to a toxicology assessment consult on impurities and residual solvents in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) developed by the Therapeutic Products Directorate. This course is the second in a series of three online courses related to the SOP.

SOPs are administrative instruments not having force of law and, as such, allow for flexibility in approach. Alternate approaches to the principles and practices described in this course may be acceptable provided they are supported by adequate justification. This course should be experienced in conjunction with the Food and Drugs Act and Regulations, other applicable acts and regulations, and relevant sections of other applicable review SOPs and guidance documents for external stakeholders.
